Also the day quaint quaint watering holes along Circular Road glory in their alfresco dining set-ups, diners take to enjoying their drinks and grub in the open to soak in the festivities; sights and sounds.
Originating from Ireland, St Patrick’s Day is an international festival to showcase the manifold talents of Irish people of every age and social backgrounds.
An unforgettable experience of spontaneous music and gigs, alcohol, a gastronomical affair, and a time of togetherness for family and loved ones, St Patrick’s Day 2018 at Circular Road was an invigorating extravaganza for all!
Bursting with the creative energy and enthusiasm for this festival, the sweltering temperatures of Singapore’s midday heat failed to dampen our spirits. We explored every nook and cranny of Circular Road and discovered Irish beer brands exclusively for sale in selected bars.
You can imagine the treat we had during the beer-tasting!
It was a day loaded with spontaneous music gigs erupting from corners of the street – born from a festival-goer’s singing of a familiar tune under his breath before the people around him caught on.
Communal games like a beer-inspired telematches and child-friendly versions were uncommon on Circular Road, for that day.
