This copywriting was used for an event organised for a collaboration between Singapore Polytechnic and The Yellow Ribbon Project in 2016.

 

The transition during several but endless cycles of 365 days of change and torture on the mind; unsaid and unheard.

My Journey is simple yet profound

Beyond the standard white of their clinical work clothes,

the nature of this job

is far from clinical.

To some nurses, this profession

knocks on the doors of their hearts to offer more than what the job asks of them.

More than the salary,

their love for a temporary family of patients spurs them to rise above the body’s weariness.

A draining vocation

but an extremely fulfilling one
